Yeah. Two minutes, fifty-nine seconds, if I heard that correctly. Just two rounds. The hype, the months of trainings, the money spent for the training and advertising... all to end with a two-round fight. And both rounds, Ricky Hatton hit the canvas.

On fandom, I am now in the process of preparing the next chapter of Causal Loop, a DHr AU fic I had written and posted over at portableswamp December last year, and then completely abandoned forgot over the hubbub of the holidays and the woes of real life.

Apologies to the very few people who actually gave it a chance and read it. I am not going to abandon it. It may take a bit of willpower in my part, but in the name of Draco Malfoy's receding hairline, I will finish that fic!

I'm currently listening to classic Disney songs in YouTube. I miss my childhood... 

Do kids in this generation still know the old fairytales--Cinderella, Aladdin, and the whole gang? Throw in a bit of Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, and Betty Boop. And Johnny Bravo and Cow & Chicken.

Or is it just Bratz and Winx and all those big-headed doll cartoons now? :(

I miss the old days, when video games were more about point and shoot, or jumping and squashing enemies, leveling up as they go along. I miss Bomber Man and Pacman. And I miss the pixelated look of these games. Now it's all about the Wii, and the PlayStation, and the Xbox. Sheesh.

Back in LJ, finally!

Not only did I have trouble accessing my Gmail, but I couldn't log into or *view* LJ, my MSN, my AIM, and my imeem. I resisted the urge to sign up for new accounts, because I was not going to give in to technical trouble. I still have no idea what happened, but my techie friend managed to get me back my Gmail.

The Internet just wasn't the same without that Gmail and LJ. I can log into my MSN now, but I still can't explain why I got a 404 when I attempted to go to LiveJournal.com. Anyone else had that problem?

Why would anyone want to hack into my account??! I'm not famous or anything. And why that account? It's used just for LJ and school e-mails.

Seriously.

And it came at the same time my Documents folder got cleaned out. Why do these things keep happening to me? I know I should be thankful that at least this time, it was just the folder that got infected and deleted, and not the entire account for my PC. That would've been a nightmare.

It's just I lost half my school projects (at least I'd submitted them already, but still...), a few unfinished fics, and a few photos from college.

So now I should probably apologize to all my LJ friends. You must've thought I abandoned LJ or something. I would never do that. I just couldn't get in. I couldn't even make it into the main LJ page. :(

But all's good now. I got a lot of catching up to do.

I miss you all so so so so much!

Does it count as cheating if I used Photoshop and a Wacom tablet? My sister's laptop doesn't have Paint, and I left the mouse downstairs.

In other news, I am going to freeze to death. Stuff is starting to drip from my nose. Trufax. It's so cold, and the rain is making things worse. :(

I hope it doesn't rain in Vegas during Christmas, or I am going to waste the whole trip sulking and shaking. Cold weather causes bad photos, because I can't smile, and I can't fling my arms around like a jolly vacationer should in her photos. And I do not want to waste my outfits by hiding under baggy jackets.

I understand that Vegas is warmer than Sacramento, but really...I'm just not used to the general coldness of the United States. I'm a tropics girl. Ugh gah I miss the Philippines.

To cheer myself up, I read through the Fred/Hermione rec list at books_freckles.

OK, so Taylor Lautner's rumored to be dropped from New Moon because he looks too childish.

I also watched five movies nonstop today. Disturbia, License to Wed, PS I Love You, Elektra, and HP OotP.

And now I'm watching Superbad again. I wanna meet McLovin. And his Aladdin vest.
